Terms of Service

The Platform is an intermediary marketplace. When a founder pays a reviewer to test a product, the contract for that work is between the founder and the reviewer. We provide the tools, escrow, and dispute process, but we are not the employer of reviewers and do not guarantee any outcome, quality, or volume of work.

Reviewers act as independent contractors and are solely responsible for their own taxes, social contributions, and legal/regulatory obligations in their country.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

Reviewer rewards are processed through Stripe. Two distinct money flows exist:

• Subscriptions (Founder / Founder Pro) are billed by us via Stripe Billing.
• Reviewer rewards are paid founder → reviewer via Stripe Connect. The founder funds an amount into escrow (held on the platform balance) when posting a paid request.

Payout rules:

• Funds remain in escrow until the founder releases them for a specific review.
• A reviewer must complete Stripe Connect onboarding (identity/KYC + payout account) before any funds can be released to them.
• On release, the reviewer receives the reward minus the platform fee (currently 10%, shown at checkout and configurable). Stripe processing fees may also apply.
• Released funds are transferred to the reviewer's connected account and paid out by Stripe on its standard schedule.
• Unreleased escrow can be refunded by the founder at any time before release. We do not release funds automatically.

We charge a platform fee on each reviewer payout and the subscription prices shown on the pricing page. Fees are disclosed before you commit and may change with notice; changes don't apply retroactively to funds already in escrow.

If a reviewer completes a review in good faith but the founder does not release a fair reward, the reviewer may open a dispute from their Wallet. Process:

• The founder is notified and can resolve it by releasing payment or responding.
• Unresolved disputes are escalated to the cofound.si team, who may review the submission and either release escrowed funds to the reviewer or close the dispute.
• Our resolution is a good-faith mediation of the escrowed amount only; it is not binding arbitration and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
• Decisions are made within a reasonable period and communicated in-app.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Escrowed reviewer funds that have not been released are refundable to the founder. Released payouts are generally final except via the dispute process.

No fraud, fake reviews, collusion to extract payouts, harassment, IP infringement, or sharing of confidential product material outside the review. We may withhold payouts and suspend accounts for abuse.

The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or the conduct of other users. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
